I'm Robin, usually known online as Blods. I work in IT and have spent a large part of my career around Microsoft infrastructure, cloud platforms and enterprise technology.
Outside work I'm interested in computing, artificial intelligence, science, evolution, music, recording, photography, gaming and whatever else has caught my attention that week.
I also play and record music, and this site contains a collection of old songs and recordings rescued from four-track tape, early PCs and various bits of ageing recording equipment.
The original Blods.com was a WordPress blog started in 2010. This version is a rebuilt static site, but the old articles, recordings, images and URLs have been preserved.
I live in Swindon in the UK, which also explains why Swindon occasionally gets rather more coverage here than it probably does elsewhere on the internet.
